What RACKED keeps, and what it sends

EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 24, 2026
EVOLUTION CLOUD SERVICES, INC (EVOCS)

RACKED is a game made by Evolution Cloud Services, Inc, which this policy calls EVOCS. This policy says what the game keeps and sends, and what you can have removed. The App Store and Play listings link to this text.

What the game keeps on your device

The game keeps everything it needs to play on your device, and that data never leaves the device unless you submit a run to the daily leaderboard or report a name on it:

If you clear the app's data or delete the app, you remove all of it. No other copy exists, so nobody can restore it.

What leaves the device, and only if you submit or report

The daily leaderboard is the only part of the game that talks to a server. It is optional. Play the daily without submitting or reporting, or never play it, and nothing below happens.

You choose a display name the first time you submit. We create a player for you and send back an identifier and a secret token, which the game stores on your device. The identifier and the token are the whole account: it has no email address, password or sign-in, and nothing ties the player to a person.

Each submission sends a run log: the seed for the day, the city, and the actions the run played, in order. The server replays the log under the same rules to check that the game could have produced the score. The log describes a game of RACKED and carries nothing about you or your device.

The leaderboard shows your display name and your result to anyone who looks at that day's board.

The flag beside another player's name on the standings reports that name. The game sends the name and the day, and nothing about you: the report carries no identifier, and the server does not keep your address with it. A person at EVOCS reads the reports and may rename or remove that player. The game also stops showing the name on your device.

Game Center, on iPhone and iPad

If you are signed in to Game Center on an iPhone or iPad, the game also posts your kW delivered in the daily, your best deploy and the achievements you earn to Game Center. Apple runs Game Center under its own privacy policy, and your Game Center settings decide who sees them. The game sends Apple nothing else and keeps no copy of your Game Center account.

What we do not do

Where it is kept, and for how long

EVOCS holds submitted runs and display names on a server it operates in Microsoft Azure, in the East US 2 region. EVOCS keeps run logs and board results for as long as the game is running, so past boards stay readable, and keeps a report until someone has dealt with it. The server never stores your secret token as you hold it. It keeps only a hash of the token, which lets it check that a submission is yours without being able to reproduce the token.

Children

RACKED is a game about running data centers. It is not directed at children and collects nothing beyond the display name a player types.

Removing your data

The game can do it for you. REMOVE MY SCORES, under CAREER on the title screen, deletes your board entries and every run behind them from the server and forgets the identity this device holds, so the next submission starts as a new player. Once the removal is done, anyone can claim the display name, you included.

For anything that route does not reach, such as a device you no longer have, write to contact@evocs.tech and give the display name and the approximate date you submitted. We will remove the player and every run attached to it. We do not verify requests, because we hold nothing that would let us, so we take each request at its word.

Changes

If we change this policy, we change the date at the top with it, and the version that applies is the one published when you submitted.
